This program is designed for busy healthcare executives, managers and students that live and work on the Eastern Shore or in Delaware. September 26, 2008 - MAHCE's first (6) Category I Credit All Day Educational Event. Major General David A. Rubenstein, FACHE, Chairman, American College of Healthcare Executives, was our keynote speaker who shared his perspective in a "Healthcare Leadership: A View From My Foxhole."
We had also assembled industry best practices from Witt/Kieffer, Premier Consulting Solutions, IMA Consulting, KPMG in addition to local and national healthcare leaders with demonstrated success in implementation. This enriching day of panels provided takeaways easily able to be implemented to increase employee effectiveness through coaching and mentoring, talent management development, clinical supply chain management as well as the keys to sustaining a financially vibrant healthcare organization. The day benefited early-careerists, mid-careerists, Material Management leaders, and seasoned leaders and members of the medical staff community.
