Board Committees
The following are working committees which conduct applicable business for the MAHCE Board and it's membership. If you are interested in joining one of the committees, please contact the committee chair.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
MEMBERSHIP CHAIR – Georgetta Robinson
georgetta.robinson@cms.hhs.gov The Membership Committee will collaboratively facilitate the membership growth for ACHE and MAHCE. This includes distributing information to prospective members and maintaining the database with annual review. This chairperson works also collaboratively with the Communications Chairperson to effectively translate important information to members.
PROGRAM COMMITTEE
PROGRAM CHAIR – Gregory Finnegan
gfinneg@jhmi.edu The Program Committee will organize and plan the subject and content of all educational and networking events within the Chapter territory.
OPERATIONS COMMITTEE
OPERATIONS CHAIR – Alan Weisman
weisala@aol.com The Operations Committee will coordinate with the Program Committee in selecting and contracting the location and meal planning, RSVP, registration and attendence for education & program events.
DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
DEVELOPMENT CHAIR – Raymond Dudley

The Development Committee will coordinate all fund raising efforts for the organization. This includes the identification and securing of potential sponsors, and ensuring collection of the these funds.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE
COMMUNITY OUTREACH CHAIR – VACANT The Community Outreach Committee will coordinate all outreach efforts on behalf of the organization. The committee will identify potential organizations / activities with which to participate or support, educate the board on these potential organizations / activities, and oversee involvement with them.
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR – Douglas Shephard

The Communications Committee is responsible for working with the web master to update posted information on the MAHCE web site. They also facilitate the link between the local chapter and membership to convey important information including upcoming program events and the president's newsletter.

The Internal Audit Committee ensures fiscal balance and record retention for the organization.
