Behavioral Health Crises in EDs

Join us for our first educational event of 2018. Our panel of experts will be exploring some innovative models of behavioral health care that are being piloted here in Maryland. We will explore ways to avoid the use of emergency departments for patients in behavioral health crisis. Our panel includes Michael Cetta,,MD, ED physician, Jill RachBeisel, MD, Vice-Chair of Clinical Affairs for Department of Psychiatry, University of Maryland, Billina R. Shaw, MD, FAPA, Medical Director of Mental Health Services at the Prince George’s County Health Department and Nicole Stallings, Vice President of Policy and Data Analysis for Maryland Hospital Association.
